Oh man, this is the weather I saw outside my window today… Inches of snow, blanketing everything. And more falling, even now.
This is totally beautiful and normally not a problem. I like snow, for the most part. However, my heater went out this week. Already, my condo sits on a concrete slab on the first floor of a 3-story building. (No heat rising from below) And it is on the (northish –west side of the building. ( So it doesn’t get warmed up by the sun until the afternoon. So the place tends to be cool naturally. Add no heat except a couple of rather pathetic space heaters and some electric blankets, and you get one cold apartment. And one chilly me! Turns out I’m actually looking forward to being warm (who would have thought?)
