I have a habit of finding photo ops that are rather high on the goof-ball scale. It’s a mission of sorts, one that I enjoy. I thought I’d use this page to share a few with you….
The highlight of the entertainment to be found in Semporna one evening was provided by a panda popcicle…

In Costa Rica, there is a flower called the reina de la noche (queen of the night). It’s also known as the angel’s trumpet. Apparently, the flowers can provide a psychedelic, hallucinogenic effect, so it’s not recommended to plant them near bedroom windows. So while it makes a wonderful looking hat, which also leaves room for my mohawk, I guess it’s not for everyday wear….festivals and parties only, perhaps?
La Paz, Costa Rica; October 2018.
I enjoyed my visit to the catacombs under Paris with my friend Betsy.

you’re not subtle, everyone’s gonna know!
A wise old owl sat on an oak.
The more he saw the less he spoke.
The less he spoke, the more he heard.
Why aren’t we like that wise old bird?

At BFlat in Bangalore, I became quite inspired by my new friends, Marvin and John and Bob and many more, and after a while, we even had my sister Jayanthi join in with our new buddies… you may recognize them.
This week, I spent a lot of my time in Bangalore with my cousin and her kids, Sanchu, Tharan, and Vivan. They are super-cool kids.
We went to a restaurant, I think it was called Thalp. A burger-joint. (with real beef- unheard of back in the day!) Anyway, we were inspired… Thanks to Tharan for his awesome picture taking skills and to Sanchu for her goofball modeling.
I spent a week in Goa the last week in March. I stayed at the Empire Beach Resort in Calangute Beach. I really enjoyed myself and the the resort was a lovely place to stay. The lawn and the grounds of the Empire had a lot of fascinating sculptures on it. They were rather inspirational, as far as my silly pics go…. (Thanks to my new friend Jyoti V. for lending her photography expertise!)
I had a great time in Hyderabad when I found an ice cream shop called Cream and Fudge (yes, that’s really the name!) It’s kind of like Coldstone Creamery in the US. The signs on the wall were rather inspiring…
